So this is my 2nd painting in 16 years, so please be kind 😅 I have always loved this scene and #PeterJackson really captured exactly how I pictured it in the books. This my little take on his scene with some #BobRoss inspired 70s 3D features like the falling leaves painted outside of the frame and the leaves on the ground also painted to overflow outside of the frame. I haven’t painted in a long long time! Must be at least 16 years. Forgot how much I enjoyed it. This is my very crude attempt at capturing my brother @diganjoe55 and his beautiful dog @fionnthelurcher who sadly passed away a few weeks ago. He was one of the most wonderful old souls that you could wish to meet and was best friends with my own departed dog son Took. I’m not much for religious beliefs or ideals, but I do like to think of them both together again running through fields. Rest easy Fionn x
